Whether you hope to qualify for a grant to match your down payment, assistance to cover much of your closing costs, or a loan with a low down payment requirement, earning a first-time homebuyer certificate is your first step.
The homebuying process takes months and demands much from prospective homeowners. You are thinking of making the largest purchase of your life so far, and yet too many homebuyers approach the process the same as if they were heading to dollar store to buy the cheapest 12-pack of socks possible.
Home Fit course participants get step-by-step guidance from start to finish. Make Home Fit your first step to turn your homebuying experience from frustration to a satisfying and memorable stage of life.
While other providers require you to attend an 8-hour, in-person course offered just once every month or two, you can take our 6-hour course at your convenience, 24/7, and at your own pace. If you only have 25 minutes a day, Home Fit has you covered. If you can only take it Tuesday mornings at 2:30 am, Home Fit has you covered.
Free Housing Counseling
Home Fit is a HUD-approved housing counseling and education program offering services in Southwestern Idaho through our parent organization, Debt Reduction Services, Inc. We provide award-winning and expert-developed Financial Management and Housing Counseling services, as well as free workshops that are designed to help homeowners, renters, and homebuyers learn about the many options they may have available to improve their housing situation.
